    This place took over for the old California Noodle Co.  By the looks of the inside, it seems they put no thought into ambiance or function.  It has all of the charm of those Hickory Farms or Halloween shops that put up temorary digs in vacant retail stores at holiday times.  They have 60 locations now so you'd think they would put a little effort into the place.

    The food is O.K., but nothing special.  It is far better than Yoshinoya (not saying much) but well below Waba Grill up on Harbor.

    Basic meat and rice bowls with fresh veggies.  A larger plate with a soft drink was $9.11.  Not bad for a decent sized meal, but I would prefer not to have to pump my own sauce out of a plastic one gallon jug.
